This piece started as an exploration of the use computational design tools as part of machine-assisted art-making. Questioning what template of input should be fed into a machine, departing from conventional canvas art form, the work explored an aesthetic that is a mix of technical and architectural drawings.
The drawing itself explores the idea of symbiosis as well as co-destruction at scale. We can't deny that our civilization's intervention to the larger ecosystem, a cartesian distortion and dismemberment of it. The slicing presents itself as violent yet mundane, something that we can see at a fisher's market.
